The Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) was inaugurated Tuesday on Cerro Pachón on the Cerro Tololo property of the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA). Texas A&M, which is a member of both LSST and AURA, was represented in Chile by Lucas Macri, associate professor of astronomy.
